Ah.

OK, redid the strap like the video shows. It wears a lot better now.

Must admit though it's well fiddly to get the hook on the keeper when it's on the wrist.

Might be due to cheapy copy from China but I might just go for a NATO in the same colourway instead.

Agreed on the hook... But when it’s on - it’s great

I worry that it could be a gateway to elasticated trousers however.

Yeah, questions of taste aside, it’s just a very amateurish computer mock-up. Not even a proper render. Eg look at the hour markers - the reflection on their surface rotates with them, they’ve just been copied and pasted. Lots of crap gradients and drop shadows as well.

It looks infinitely better in the real photos than in the render. As with most watches. Why do watch brands use renders?

Cheaper/quicker/easier. And they’ll most likely already have the CAD / 3D model from the product development process.

The one pictured is all built on illustrator, a manufacturing render more than the finalised one's you see on companies own sites.

And seiko are one of the worst for render finishes!

I did see a Tudor GMT on a bracelet in Valencia ... is there still a waiting list in the Uk .

Anyone interested in a black Smiths Everest 36mm (latest timefactors model with the new bracelet)? Lovely watch but unfortunately too big for my wee wrists... New, only left the box for a size check 😊
