My current green faced love is for this Seiko Lord Matic.
Will be with me in a couple of weeks (shipped from Japan)
Hoping the importing fees will be friendly...

I got one of those Nike watches as a present and it was a hair pinching machine, worn once, binned.

What year?

I have had one of these:
for a few years (Got it in...2013?) but it seems to have stopped. Obviously cheapest/most straightforward option is to just buy another, but is there anywhere I could send it to have them take a look at it? Would rather play 100 quid to get it serviced than 120 quid for another watch

The Speedmaster ran out wind at nearly exactly midnight.... Oooh spooky. Or was it midday? Curious though.

Not as uncommon as you might think, possible sign of hands very slightly binding as they cross but probably just a fluke. See if happens again.https://omegaforums.net/threads/how-often-does-this-happen-speedmaster-stops-at-12-00.106655/#post-1396569

That mad aluminium ball it came packaged in too. I think the clasp on mine failed very quickly

Angular Momentum automatic diver doesn't keep time when kept in the watch winder and is very difficult to wake up when I next wear it (gentle shaking for 5+ minutes required).
I presume a service is required - any recommendations? What price will I be looking at?

Unlikely I’m afraid, but you can make your own simply by combining a GW-M5610-1BER with the bezel and strap from a DW-D5600P-8. (I did not do this, but I salute the good taste of the bloke I bought it off on eBay, who did.)

Bit of a dredge - how loud does it tick? and do the day and date line up in the window?
I’ve seen some photos where the date looks well out..
If you sell, let me know.. I keep looking at them but not taking the plunge.

(Just to be extra clear, you can source the bezel and strap spares separately, you don’t have to buy two watches.)

Woah, funny how my pic closely resembles others in that thread. Hmmm, it's never happened before but - straight after taking my pic I put the watch down and it started ticking again which indicates some kind of binding or magnetism at play.
Not worried though, if I take the time to sync it perfectly with my phone time it stays bang on for at least 3-4 days if I keep it wound. It does start to drift after that though.
Digital mostly on my wrist
