I want to find a black replacement that is the equivalent quality of the factory green strap. The original silicone strap is just so soft and not plasticky at all.

I was tempted with one of those.
is it green or brown? I've seen it listed as both colours...

You can source the standard black Prospex silicone strap that they fit to the turtle, etc. The steel keeper and buckle are maybe a bit shiny for the style though.

Edit: actually the “ninja turtle” ( https://www.seikowatches.com/global-en/products/prospex/SRPC49K1 ) has a black buckle and keeper version. Wonder if you could find the part number and order it. Bet it would be prohibitively expensive though.

Yeah, a cursory search showed some ridiculous options. We need a Seiko ejay for this thread....

Face and bezel are root beer brown, surround is black and the factory strap is a dark green. The green did not do much for me so I repurposed a black divers strap I had knocking around. It looks much better and the brown becomes really subtle, it's only obvious it's not black if you look carefully.
