Has anybody noticed how expensive SKX007j1 are?
I could have sworn that mine cost me £170 not many years ago....they appear to sell closer to £270 now.
Exchange rates have not been kind I guess...

I have, the one that got me was the alpinist. I wish I bought one and left it in a drawer.

20% off the ticket price right now.
?

• #39534
Certainly, that was one of them. But the supply seems to be in the favor of the buyer in the GMT market right now.

The vintage watch company is offering 20% off their ticket price on rolexs...
It's on their website too
-
• #39536
They're still reassuringly expensive with the 20%, sadly.
-
• #39537
Watch everyone swarm down there tomorrow morning...
But to be fair, I would like to go just to go watch perv.

Bell and Ross pop up is nice.

That’s not a pop up, it’s their permanent London boutique.

Yeah, they’re asking £6k+ for £3k bubblebacks. Nonsense.
-
• #39542
I guess it's the market... They're on the door of ppl willing to pay that graft for it.
-
• #39543
I had to double check it wasn't a tritium one.
The glossy dial wasn't around for long but it is not rare.
Nuts.

• #39544
It's a Polex... That's why.

There is a SKX007 J version on Amazon for £435!
The K versions are at £339...
-
• #39546
Jeez, I bought one 5 years ago for £120... And sold here for 80 🤣
-
• #39547
Go to Burlington Arcade and spend some time there. Nobody is buying anything.
There's only a finite amount of people with Rolex money and a much smaller number when they're twice the price.
-
• #39548
Is your friend the first owner?
-
• #39549
No, he's had it for the past three and a half years or so.

I bought one on here for £120. I don't think I've ever had a watch go up in value!
That one shop seems to hoard them. You do wonder if you walked in and lowballed them whether they might go for it. Depends what they paid for them in the first place I suppose.
