nearly as versatile as a Garmin and definitely easier on the eye. What does the 2-24 scale on the left hand side measure?

That's how an SKX should look. I'm trying to get there with mine but it still looks brand new.

Another Breitling Friday......
I have to praise Breitling and H&T/est1897.co.uk very highly. Bought this via Chromo24 and chronometer function didn't work....so I returned it to H&T who sent it to Breitling.
Thought I might see it again in a few years, but Breitling have fixed the watch and cleaned it up a lot, and in a pretty timely way (a couple of months max), so very happy! Came back nicely packaged with spare link. Good to get great service.....

2nd time zone. 2400 hours is a bit weird to most people but is actually the correct way to notate midnight according to ISO 8601.
Its lovely watch but fitting a quad retrograde into a (very) sub £10k movement means its pretty thick.

I can't quite put my finger on why, but that watch really appeals to me. It just looks right.

I really love the angled numbers (although has a Swatch vibe!) and the fact that it's quite plain for a Breitling, even understated. I thinks it's the only quartz watch I would buy. I'm also a big fan of matt titanium as an alternative stainless steel.

This. Again. Really enjoying it. Much more than I thought I would. Size is just perfect for my wrist I reckon.

Dug this out for Friday - a bit battered, but have had this for a quarter-century or so; the first watch I bought with my own money.

Talk about all fur coat and no knickers. Just on the way to a wedding reception wearing a watch that is worth over thirty times the rest of my outfit.

You are wearing clothes, right?

If running into TK maxx and blindly buying the least shitty thing that you can find and then getting changed in your car is clothes, then yes.

I keep checking Magrette out - I like their style and the watches seem really good value. Would you recommend?

Last number of weddings I attended, all my outfits were at least 70% charity shop. Sad thing was on all the occasions my clothes were better than the grooms’.

No risk of that for me tonight I can assure you.
