What's the extra knob? Is that the helium valve?

It is a bit pound-shop.
-

I used to think that but I found that they work better in real life than in renders/photos.

Yeah, I think pretty much all Omega divers look crap in pictures but really nice in the flesh.
It's why I've not bought one.

It’s rather nice, but is it as nice as your Seamaster? That’s the big question. I think I prefer yours. It’s not as gimmicky although the Bond one isn’t too bad.
-
• #38157
Yup. Much needed for would-be Bonds on a mission to Tesco.

Not sure about the barrelling effect on the dial as it’s quite distracting, but I like the “7” date font - I reckon a little (basically hidden) nod to the franchise is better than big gestures like gun barrel dials or second hands with 007 on them but then I’m not a Bond superfan so I guess I’m not the market. The Spectre LE is still my fav. I actually prefer that to the base watch as I like a lollipop :)

So far, the only acceptable 'Bond' watch from Omega has been the 300...
All the rest look like airport souvenir stand fodder.

First time NATO on the Seamaster. I’ll give it a few days to get used to, seems a bit bulky at first.
I’ve got one similar to the above coming, non-omega though. First need to figure if I prefer it on steel / leather or nylon.
It’s olive green btw.

Looks good on NATO, but I think a smarter, more seat belt like NATO would look better. Something like this: https://www.crownandbuckle.com/supreme-nato-20mm-black.html
But with hardware that matches better. The problem with yours is the thickness of the fabric itself but the looks also look bead blasted? Which doesn't look great with a polished case IMO. Love the watch itself though.

Yep, I agree. That’s why I think it’s too bulky.
I still had this one kicking around, fabric is thinner and different (polished) hardware. Color scheme fits perfectly to be fair. It’s a broken white with black. I like this a lot better.
The green one went on the Timex Expedition, which actually is a great match!

the whole bond thing is pants , the 300 is plenty good enough on its own .
I am glad I bought a sea master professional 200 back in 1992 -

Maybe when I turn 50 ;)

Lol. Fair point. I’m ahead of you there.

lollipop second hand is great though

I usually wear nato straps the other way round (so the double back loop is on the far side of the wrist), that may help the optics a bit as it's slightly less intrusive on the eye then?
-
• #38174
yes? yes.

I like basically everything there apart from the wide spacing of the text on the lower part of the dial. Luminous Gill Sans is niiiiice.
Omega limited editions always seem to appeal to the inner 12 year old. Would be a bit cringeworthy to actually wear it though.
