I don’t mind the shiny (or it being a deployant) but it’s not comfortable so a swap is fine with me. What did you go for as a replacement?

I'm afraid I really can't remember. Sold my cocktail time a couple of months ago when I got my gold Meister.
Probably a fairly plain black Hirsch, doubt I spent more than £25 on it.
Interesting that you didn't mind the shininess...it was a real turnoff for me.

I ditched mine recently for the same reason. Really uncomfortable. Feels, and IMO looks, a lot better on this. It's from some ancient Hugo Boss watch I had lying around.

Does anyone here have any experience with Mark Sanders?

It looks like some very decent work and us Dutchies like to stick together!

I went into the deserted Rolex shop in Charles de Gaulle this morning to pass the time... almost before I had chance to say anything to the lady working there, she said “no sports watches” and shrugged.

Same in Heathrow T2, stuck my head into the Rolex boutique, "no sports watches".

Do OPs fall into the sports watches category / were there any on display? Never quite understood the distinction between them and "sports watches"as aren't they basically just an Explorer 1 with a domed bezel and no extension thingy on the bracelet clasp?
-
• #37994
They are clearly sports watches (waterproof, steel bracelet, lume) despite being a bit dressy. What the ADs mean by that is the Rolex “professional” range of watches, I guess “sports” is just more widely understood as a term for them.
You don’t even see Milgausses in the windows any more...

WoS in Gatwick don't even stock Rolex or Panerai! I asked and I got 'Heathrow'... 'Heathrow'... I guess its an agreement with the airport to draw the rich clientele through Heathrow... Sucks to be them not having any stock of anything though! Looks who's laughing now! (no one)
It's actually insane how little stock there is. I'm wondering if there's not a problem with the company... Closed up shop. Said fuck you and no ones heard.

Gatwick is a total shit hole though, so I can see their point.

It is bonkers. I love the OPs, super robust but hidden under classy exterior. V jealous of your 36mm - wish they did the double batons on the 39mm.

I'm flying out of Gatwick next week.
What's their Seiko / G Shock range like?
