I've been looking at the SBGN003 for a while now...

Going with a Perlon today as part of the summer vibe:
Any suggestions on where to buy Eulit Perlons in the UK (or from the EU with quick delivery)? I fancy a few other colours but need them delivered by Wednesday at the latest.

As, for a change, all your time zones are belong to us here's a Friday on-wrist shot... I really like this watch, very glad I bought it...

Liked this, but the very low-key video of it on YouTube put me off a little.

Haven't been on the forum so much in the last couple of months, new job which has been hectic, lots of busy weekends and trying to be a better dad in the evenings.
However, saw Fellows's Watch Sale on our thesaleroom portal and thought I need to spend 5 mins posting a link on here because there's some bangers on there:
This is 100% not meant to be just me spamming the company I work for because I think quite a few of us would have a genuine interest.
Basically thesaleroom let you bid online on real life auctions, so you don't have to go to Fellows to bid in the room, you can bid live on the portal.
I don't know if the estimates are high or low or what and I'm obvz not vouching for the auctioneer as I have no affiliation,.
A few in the sale that caught my eye:

There's a fair few Omega and Rolex, plus all the major brands, and a few boxes and pocket watches too.

Would be of interest but the commission rate is utter madness!

I’m constantly searching these..
I use ‘dual-time’ ‘world-time’ ‘GMT’ ‘UTC’
Bell and Ross is good - likely on my list in the future.
I have a real soft-spot for the ‘Steve McQueen’ explorers.
Another vote for Sinn also.. I like the 144 with 12 hour GMT but could be a bit busy depending on your preference.
It can be done with a 12-hour rotating bezel also (obvs won’t tell you AM/PM).
The functionality of the movement can be important - whether you can set the main time without impacting the secondary - or vice versa.. in this respect it sounds like Rolex have this covered.
The ‘steel’ Casio world time watch also looks pretty good to be honest but not sure it displays 2 times concurrently— generally I prefer just to be able to glance down rather than press buttons to access the second time.
Wow - I’ve bored myself now! Let us know which direction you’re thinking.

The modern Explorer II is a true dual-time zone watch but on the original Explorer II (including the Steve McQueen) the 24hr hand is fixed to the main time. The purpose of it is to know whether it’s AM or PM, eg if you’re an arctic explorer when the sun never sets or down a dark cave somewhere.

I'd still really like a Steve McQueen. They were 8k when I last looked seriously, I imagine they're loads more now.

one for sale in omegaforums.. $18k

I did not know this - that’s saved me $18k

That looks fantastic.

I got my Eulit perlon from uhrband24.com but they don’t deliver that quickly.
Watch Obsession have lots of colours and do quick delivery but I’m not sure they’re Eulit ones.

Looks really good. Love the dull titanium finish. I need a ti watch of some description. I'd get one of those but I'd like flash of orange and no numerals.

Those are the cheap Chinese ebay ones being sold at an inflated price. I have a few of them straight from China and they are nice enough. Some of the bonding is a bit scratchy so I file down the sharp edges.

Cheers. I have a watch obsession which isn't bad but it's definitely not as good as the Eulit I have.
Not normally noticeable but when it's hot and you're sweaty the Eulit is a bit more breathable. Trouble is I want it for hot weather

Ah, yeah.
I guess the best solution is an Erika’s MN but $$$. And you’d have to wait for it.
-
• #37398
Would definitely recommend an Erika's
-
• #37399
Yes, an Erika's is on the list at some point. A bit pricey though and undecided which to go for.

Auctions pretty much.
Not defending it at all, but everyone wants their cut. As long as you keep it in mind and know what the line is per item where the hammer price + all the premiums and commissions isn't worth it any more, then you're fine.
It just means it's harder to find a "bargain".
If you're looking sub £2k or so then virtually everything seems to have an ETA 2893-2 in it. When I was looking for a GMT that's what I searched on.
Plenty of alternatives, a lot of pilot style ones for instance. I have a Speedbird GMT
Archimede also do a pilot watch
Hamilton have some nice ones:
and Farer have quite a few:
