This dude on another forum made this from individual parts. It cost him around $700, which is a bargain considering it uses the ETA 7750 which was mentioned in the previous page.
Pretty fucking cool. -

^ very nice!
On a separate note how are crowns normally secured onto their shaft? Is it just thread-lock? I ask because a NOS Lanco I recently purchased arrived today but when I went to adjust the time the bloody crown unscrewed! Obviously I just screwed it back on (but still can't adjust the time) and contacted the seller to say 'oi!'. But if they're normally just held in place with thread-lock I might as well do it myself?

Anyone got any opinions on the Hamilton W10 military watch? Very tempted by a 1973 model, for £200? Looks in good nick, some aging to the luminous markings, but other than that very good.

Last time I had a new battery in my Omega f300 it cost me over £30.
I've just bought a case opener, a couple of batteries and a case clamp for less than that. -

Very nice Murtz. I dig.
Removed the stock bracelet and have ordered another black Nato (thanks Murtle). Not sure about the shark mesh and the Traser bracelet might not fit the lugs on this thing.
