i have one of these which is of great sentimental value to me so I'd have it for spares if you were giving it away please. Don't live in LDN at the moment so could either transfer you for post or get it on a future lfgss bikepacking weekend or something :)

Tried on two grand seiko dress watches that I loved on line, but left me a little cold on person. Probably for the best.

That’s on my list at the moment if I can’t pick up a something I’m after in the next couple of weeks. They’re lovely in person.

In Hilton Manchester wearing my Steinhart, feels slightly outgunned

Did similar today. Tried on a Glashutte Original Senator today. Sort of realised that whilst it is a lovely piece of jewelry what I like are watches to wear every day.
So maybe I should save myself 4k and get a Sinn.

The thread still seems to be ok. I just assumed it had gradually worked loose and wondering how to avoid that.

Ah I see. Totally misinterpreted what you meant by falling apart. I thought you meant that the screwbar was removable without you unscrewing it.
A dab of loctite would be perfect. Not sure which one to suggest though, would have to be whatever their most temporary one is. Maybe somebody else on here knows more about loctite!

No, but it’s from the same collection.
I’m not totally sure about them but that blue dial is my favourite, it draws plenty of grumbles in the Hoodwinkee comments but I think it works.

This one feels unusually unbalanced for a GS to me. Like the indices are too thick and the hands are too small. Maybe it’s the “folded” treatment on the hands, they seem to have less presence than the usual faceted ones.

I've used 222 (purple) on bracelet screws before, so still have a lot of a bottle in a drawer - I'm Bromley way-ish if you're anywhere remotely close but probably more time/cost efficient to buy.

Depends on what you're trying to achieve. Regular blue threadlock will hold well, still be removable and act as an anti ease.

A bit of further playing with it suggests the thread is a bit knackered. One bar screws up properly, the other one tightens and then just continues to spin and never fully tightens up. Will email Helson and see what they have to say.

Whilst on the Helson website I spotted this novelty brass sharkdiver

It probably won't be economical to buy a replacement from Helson because of postage costs.
You can buy them elsewhere though, some Bell & Ross and some Panerai models use the same screw bars.

Quite like the new black Magrette diver

Might be a bit ott having a black one and a blue one though -

If you get stuck give us a shout - they gave me a couple of spares in my Helson package and I'd be happy to send 'em on.
It should be fairly obvious what the problem is. Either the small piece of the two piece screwbar is missing or has lost its threads?
EDIT: Having said that, I know that the Helson Skindiver comes with one piece screwbar...maybe the new SDs are too
