always liked this watch. never tried it on though. i'd prefer the lugs to be a bit longer nomos style. sapphire crystal looks great as well..is that a standard now? i remember they used it on a special edition not long ago

I see what you mean about the lugs. I'm happy with the way it is, but slightly longer lugs would certainly frame the dial better/differently.
No, acrylic is still standard. They do sapphire to order.

Lush!

Makes me consider changing the acrylic on my max bill.

I think I prefer the acrylic on my max bill, it really suits the watch.

Having just got a 10k tax refund would it be wrong to buy another watch or a bicycle or both....?
-
• #36134
The only sensible thing to do is buy 1,250 Casio f91w.
-
• #36135
Buy my bike so I can buy a watch.

Or put the £ in the bank for next year when HMRC decide they were right the first time and want it back. Or get an 18k Rolex.

Thought the Liberty sale was too good be true, ordered yesterday, out of stock today. No Junghans for Paul.
-
• #36138
Ordered in what sense? If you had a confirmation email it should be on the way, no?
-
• #36139
Got confirmation, then 24hrs later "unfortunately we have been unable to fulfil your order"
PayPal shows Order Placed -

That's odd... I wonder if people had them held in baskets or if it's anything like net-a-porter, where personal shoppers take precedence over plebs and stylists take an age to return things to the shelf.

👏👏

It was definitely true - just got wrist shots through from someone who bought one yesterday (in store).
-
• #36143
Yeah that can happen when they don’t have the stock.
It’s liberty - they probably aren’t the tightest e-com operation.
Bummer.

I remembered yesterday that I was offered a Rolex oysterquartz last year and I didn’t know much about them - seems the prices have rocketed! I’ve just found this version that has a mechanical movement in the oysterquartz case - big fan!!

Those are incredibly rare.

• #36147
Yup - 1500 made apparently...
-
• #36148
I did some googling, apparently that could be a money thing. Odd if you're using paypal though.
I think I bought the last one, sorry! -

If anyone spots a good deal on a hand winding junghans meister could you send it my way please.
