I'd be keen to operate the bezel lock...it looks very secure. I just wonder how practical it is...probably not very seeing as it remained a prototype!

Rolex apparently did it as the 1690. Riveted bracelet looks much more the part.
There seems to have been quite a bit of doubt as to whether they were genuine at all, so Tudor remaking it would seem to legitimise them.

Also would

Also pretty nuts, white gold & meteorite dial

Sorry I'm a sucker for weird Rolex shit

I’m with you. Gold with turquoise dial slaps, rainbow pink gold day-date owns, would seriously consider the blue fumé dial without the stones.

• #33984
How much is this? Asking for a friend.

• #33985
I make no bones about the fact that I'd have a rainbow Daytona on my wrist if I had the means to do it.
That isn't quite as awesome, but I love it.

• #33986
I think would bang blue fumé even with hour marker stones, just replace with fluted bezel.

you and me both

Price on request, guessing around $50k?
-
• #33989
“POA”, but probably in the region of 80-100k?
-
• #33990
I don't like how quickly this price is rising.
-
• #33991
Lol.
I dunno, but the last time they quoted any kind of price for a rainbow Daytona (the older version) it was $86k and the newer version was “significantly more”. And this has diamonds all over the dial and the bracelet, which the Daytona does not.

And they only made a few of those. Most were sold by invitation.

Jesus. Brand dilution anyone? 😎

Pretty gnarly new titanium spring drive Marinemaster 300 from Seiko. Crown looks like it could be used to defend yourself from a hungry shark.

The closest I’ll ever get to a Bakelite GMT. $1695 a bit punch versus a Christopher Ward GMT though.
E.g. this is a far better buy at $600 less: https://www.christopherward.com/c65-vintage-gmt-644505

New Landmaster GMT thing and a Batman-ish GMT as well all based off the same case by the looks of it, all Prospex branded and spring drive. Think their press releases go out tomorrow.
That spring drive MM is an absolute unit, love it and love the look of the bracelet.

Absolute units.
From Hodinkee's newest article about the meteorite white gold GMT:
This year the white gold version with Oyster bracelet is back again but with a Meteorite dial. People love the GMT Pepsi (you still can’t get the GMT in steel – just ask any of your local ADs)
LOL

I stick to my odd cheapish vintage watches. Really like this. The reserve is a bit shite tho.
Still know nothing about Rodial. Anyone?

Happy birthday to me . Present from my boss for my 50th. Absolutely made up. It is fucking lush and sooo much cooler than any of the current Rolex “dive “ watches for half the money . If I had asked for a submariner I could have had one . But it’s omega for me all day long . Mint.

I quite like that P01. The rest are all a bit shit though.
