What time is it? Watches and horology

As I was leaving for work this morning, a nice man from DPD delivered a package.

I left the house without a watch on today. Feels wrong.

I have had some ridiculously poor service from couriers recently, but I have to say DPD were spot on.

I got a text this morning saying Mckensie will be delivering between 9.30 and 10.30, and he turned up just about bang on 10.00am. He was also quite chipper.

Credit, where credit is due.

To be fair to DPD, their drivers pass me with loads of room on the road and are generally alright with delivering. It’s all the other firms that are a ball ache.

Looks good. The bezel and case thickness seem narrower than the product shots I've seen online.

I think the joke was aimed more at the delivery of the parcel rather than the nice man.

At least mine is the green bezel...

Flag time. Just made up a leather one piece to use instead of the bracelet. Feels nicer already.

You may remember me asking to borrow watches a while back for a personal shoot. I got hold of some and glad I did. Since then I have shot the attached watch feature for GQ Magazine and have just done a two day shoot that will go over 14 pages, coming out in November.

Be kind, but it would be good to hear your thoughts, I'm keen to avoid cliches.

No G-Shock?

They didn't let me pick the watches. If they had, it would have been a classic Casio, a Pink G-shock and an Omega Seamaster.
