way too big for my skinny wrist

There's not that much difference in actual size, just width.

If I were doing it again I'm not 100% I'd go for the 013. Partly as there are so few mod options.

Although, limited edition my arse.

The polished center link really gives that a special edge, amongst other elements. Funny, it's scarcely noticeable (to me, anyway) in the product images.

The thing that really sets it apart from me is the quality and comfort of the bracelet. Its a watch that I often forget to take off before I go to bed. In terms of build quality, it easily competes with watches three or four times the value.

It might even beat my Eterna Legacy for value for money.

Seiko day for me too.

Also, it's really difficult to tell from that picture but the additional material quality and finishing of grand seikos is astounding.

Nothing comes close to their mirror polishing and hand finishing of the dial markers and hands.

This guy was so shiny I couldn’t even photograph it... then the movement under the display case back is just ughhhh so good.

Again, take the image posted above of the GS in the flesh, contrast that to the pictures in link to the official site. Really is the most sexless product imagery!

In some weird way, I find the "nearly but not quite" side to GS to be part of the appeal.

To be fair to GS and Orient, the watch industry is almost entirely cringeworthy when it comes to marketing.
