It once was gold coloured...
It's fairly hard to read in direct light as the hands are thin and the face reflects well.

Really enjoyed that article. Undoubtably a desk diver though.

That's the problem I have with that Stendardo thing. At least my Eagle7 has the black face. Much easier at a glance in most situations.

TLDR.
