IMO exhibition backs >>> anti magnetism <<<
Does anyone have a nice vid of how to degauss and set the running on a standard ETA? Or able to do it for me? Also does anyone know where I can buy these hands:
the minute and sword second hand but for an SKX013.

How old is that? Does the alarm set using what looks like the second hand?

That's an odd tachymeter scale, any more info on it?

- It's a Weems pilot watch. Bezel sets and locks to indicate zero seconds since watches did not "hack" in those days.

'As for the "Units Per Hour" markings on the bezel, those indicate miles per hour, as measured over a distance of one mile. The best I can describe this is to say that if you were driving along a highway in an automobile, and activated the chronograph as you passed a mile marker, if you stopped the chronograph immediately as you passed the next mile marker, the number indicated by the second hand on the bezel would be your average speed in "miles per hour" over that distance. There's probably a way to use this in an airplane as well, but I'm not a pilot, and don't know how that would work.'

Apologies as I should've been a bit more clear!
I meant regarding the area between 12 and around 4 o'clock. Most scales that I've seen start at either 500 or 720 (at around 7 or 5 seconds respectively) such as this guy here:
However upon typing this it's just become clear that the scale simply begins at 4 o'clock (roughly) and the 50 represents 72 seconds passed, whereas on other watches that would say 300 indicating 12 seconds passed.
Apologies once again for having you type that all out! Turns out I was just in need of a rubber duck all along.

I'd imagine you'd wind up in a ditch if you were trying to do that while driving a high performance automobile...

No worries. I copy pasted it. 😎
So Speedmaster drivers can hit 500 average eh? Whereas the Daytona drivers are maxed at 200? (Later editions to 400!)
Jim Lovell must have had issues in a 6000mph Saturn 5. #Justsayin

All the speedmaster love here helped me finally decide to buy this. A serviced but otherwise unmolested 1973 omega ref. 176.007 with a cal. 1040 movement. Only made for a couple of years so quite rare. ❤️ the secondary 24h indicator in the sub dial at 9 o'clock

*cough*
Slightly concerned that a knock off manwell might be keeping better time than the Pelagos. Both in COSC mind.

Nice. If it were me, I'd get a stainless bracelet for that.

I would if it were my only watch but my other watch has a bracelet, this is a bit more of a weekend / casual choice.
