  • after a month of daily wear I can see why this gets so much love.. apart from lusting after it for ages, I now feel inseparable. love winding it, love wearing it, and can see it being a keeper.

  • I'm tempted to sell my speedmaster

  • I can't decide whether to buy a tin tin or a plain one. I really really love the tin tin.

  • The tin tin is lovely.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of the speedmaster and mine is immaculate but I never wear it. It seems a shame to leave it in a box for the rest of its days.

  • burn the heretic !

  • This is my desk, guess why I got the watch I got:

  • try and find a tin tin new now . even I couldnt get one for Dammit when he asked me , and we are a big Omega account . none left out amongst the stockists . maybe one at an Omega store but not for long . I really regret not buying one last year when we had in stock , and I collect speedmaster , have 2 moonwatch a mark 2 and a "reduced" automatic . but Tin Tin eludes me....

  • Thanks for the encouragement.

I very nearly bought a Mk2 when I was in Geneva last week but talked myself out of it.

  • I might just go and bloody well do it.

  • a "new" mark with the co axial movement or an original ? mine was found in the back of a drawer where it had languished since 1975 . was a state but STS restored . its probably my favourite watch and the 861 caliber is more accurate than my modern 1861 equipped moonwatch . am currently considering selling my Tudor Black Bay Black to fund the purchase of a speedmaster pro mark 3 !

  • i have a new mark 2 in stock I can look after you on if you want , and we still have a limited edition Olympics Mark2 as well .

  • I'm super jelly of all these Speedmasters

  • Me too. Real grail watch for me.
    Someday...

  • It's funny, I always wanted one until one day I decided chronographs were a very silly thing for a mostly deskbound graphic designer to be wearing... Anyway, I'm much more the deep sea diver type... 💪😐💅

  • Thin I'd want an Auto Chronograph...

Chum just dropped on a Daytona big bollox.

    One day never.

  • Anyone have an IWC Pilot XVII on here? If so, what's your experience?

  • It's got to be a moonwatch. There isn't a substitute. The tintin and the racing with the crabon fibre face are ok, but they ain't speedmasters. The rest of the spesh edish ones cheapen the brand and are embarrassingly G-A-S-H.

I've worn mine every day for well over three years and can't see anything else replacing it.

  • It's got to be a moonwatch

    So much this...

  • The rest of the spesh edish ones cheapen the brand and are embarrassingly G-A-S-H.

    I don't know what you're talking about...

  • And whats wrong with that ?

  • I mostly agree with you but the Tin Tin is spunktastic.
