Claret and blue Nato straps. Anyone any idea where to get such a thing? Couldn't spot anything at Watch obsession or Timefactors.

They're not cheap, but fit your needs and will pay off soon enough if your alternative is to consider cheap leather straps as disposable.

That last one is often called "the patriot" and has been regularly used by Thom Browne in various collections.

Private sellers on Chrono24? Yes, no, maybe?
I think this is a bit too good to be true and I can't see a trusted payment method so I'll pass...

Take a look at a few things:
Do they have past sales? Where are they based? Can you collect? What payment methods do they accept?
Also, do a search of their username they may also have watch forum profiles or eBay profiles under the same name.

Sorry, I stealth edited a link to the advert. I can't see where a sales history option is on the site, maybe this chap is a first timer like me.

Managed to source a set of the (hens teeth) IWC adapters for my AT so I can now fit any (20mm) strap to it, went for a Zulu. Makes for a nice change from the bracelet/rubber I think.

Makes a nice change from a keyboard shot, pleasantly understated.

I need to buy a watch, not a cool one. But a functional one.
I have only a few needs. Any suggestions?
A timer alarm/alarm, that is quick to set.
A very loud alarm, can I get a vibrating watch?
A stopwatch.Auto adjust to time zones, is that possible?
Maybe this; https://www.casio.co.uk/products/timepieces/g-shock/classic/product/?v=GD-350-1BER
But I wonder if the vibration alarm works with the noise alarm and for the countdown timer.

Thanks, will pop by this week.
I assume you mean that scar? I crashed about 6 years ago, broke my hand and wrist in 4 places, tore some tendons off, lost a knuckle.
That scar is from a tendon transplant from my index finger to my thumb to restore full motion. They cut at the wrist, clamp the tendon, cut at the knuckle, cut the tendon, then cut down my thumb (the longest scar) and reattach. I was wide awake when they did it too, amazing really. My hand will never be 100%, but its barely noticeable, just one wonky finger and a bit less movement than normal, but it's my left so who cares.

I wear a Seiko 5 during the week and have a couple of vintage watches for evenings/weekends.
Want to rotate something in with the Seiko 5. Like small(er) clean dials and mechanical. Another Seiko 5 or an Orient I guess ?
Also, how do leather straps hold up to cycling with sweat, rain and general crud ? Want a change from a bracelet on the current Seiko 5 but don't like fabric/nato or rubber straps.
Looking at prices online for basic leather straps, I supposed I could always bin one and get another should it start looking tatty
