fair enough.
of the two, i prefer the smaller one, but i couldn't live with the date window. they are like your mate at school with the gammy eye and coke bottle glasses
-
• #16728
EXACTLY, very slightly too small. What to do...
-
• #16729
I know what you mean BRM but I really love it.
-
• #16730
Coin says 34mm and it was a relief :-D
Just wonder if in years to come I'll think 'it always was a bit too small though'
I'm getting boring now, I'll stop going on about it. Thanks all.

Any thoughts on Oris? I'm quite tempted by this (assuming the bottom dial is a second time zone rather than just 24hr) but am struggling to find much on the older models. Not sure whether it's a bit overpriced

gammy eye and coke bottle glasses
This - why do they blight the crystal with the bubble. I had a watch with one of those and it ended so scratched as to render the date unreadable. and they're silly looking. Modern tech must be able to create a magnifying lens inside the glass and still have a flat outer surface.
@StandardPractice
Really, the date is far nicer and probably an easier sell in the future should you decide the 2mm makes it unwearable. -

Did these ever come with a black face?
-
• #16735
Bubble is cyclops.
There4 it sounds cool and is a must have.
I not telling which one I prefer.
B-)
-
• #16736
@StandardPractice - 34mm.
Timeless.
-
• #16737
I can't see the difference between the two. Lol.
-
• #16738
Decision made: 34mm Date. Thanks all.
The whole point was to get something simple and discreet that epitomises the Rolex look (sans diamonds and gold... for now). The professional models (sub, GMT etc.) are great but they're not me somehow.

Someone should buy this. Plz
-
• #16740
Good choice. How much did it set you back?
-
• #16741
Nothing yet! Haven't decided if I'm going to ruin myself to pay for it outrightly or put down half initially and be able to eat in July. RRP is £4200 :-/
-
• #16742
That's seriously nice @StandardPractice. #watch4lyfe

That's lovely, Josh... You fucking tart... 👌🐓
-
• #16745
It is a bit tarty. I can't bottle it now though, I've been obsessing for months.
And fuck you, Uden! That's well harsh (but fair probably).
-
• #16746
Oof, time for a new credit card. it's worth it.
-
• #16747
Definitely a keeper - that's lovely mate
-
• #16748
Just tell yourself it's an appreciating asset. good choice

• #16749
nice one
It's just a bit busy overall isn't it. It seems like a lot of lug and bezel for the size of the dial.
