Errr, your dad? He should be giving it to you not buying it off him...
-
• #15928
Haha, unfortunately not unless I wait until he pops it - which is hopefully too long to wait!!
-
• #15929
Yeh, my son I'd give it as a gift or if I needed the money I'd sell it but not to my son - it would be off the table and on the market. Have a word.

buy buy buy!!!

• #15931
Its nice but I'd feel super weird about buying something off a parent...
-
• #15932
My dad would do the same, if he was thinking about selling it anyway and is offering you a great price because you're his son and you want one anyway then do it. Not everyones Parent's can afford to give stuff away
otherwise if you'd rather spend 1800 on a different watch then there is a lot out there to choose from(i buy my parents old tv's when they upgrade - if they gave it to me my other brothers would get pissy)

my newest max bill... suede strap on it's way

What odds does it make?
I wouldn't expect my Dad to give me £2k so why would I expect him to give me the watch?
And surely better to see someone you know enjoy something than to sell it someone you don't know?
Was more asking whether it was a good price to be fair
-
• #15935
Fair play your shout. I wouldn't expect my dad to give me 2k either but equally I wouldn't expect him to try and flog me a watch, I'd laugh if he did. Each to their own.
-
• #15936
He's not trying to flog me a watch, he mentioned getting rid of it because he doesn't wear it and offered it to me at the same price as he's been offered for it
Clearly different things make different people LOL

That Junghans is nice. I'm torn between that version or the one with the shark mesh strap.

You've lost me dude?>
Microcosm doesn't allow you to delete posts, ignore it, Joel.

No probs fella! :)

Not as nice as the Junghans above, but scored a mint condition pebble steel from the bay for half the price in the shops (it shocks me how bad some peoples listing photos are). Happy so far, and it'll keep me going until I get my Omega fixed, and perfect for a work watch.
