i just had my marathon arrive today, US army. No bells or whistles but lightweight and tritium tubes for around £100 is a no brainer for a camping watch

Zenith GMTs may also be worth a look.

Annoyingly they have a really cool GMT Pilot, but it's the size of a grandfather clock.

I think it will be more of a mod of an existing SKX.
Need to do a bezel insert. That can be black numerals on black background, maybe matt on gloss.

See that is the thing- I would want a watch to wear whatever I am doing, apart from training when I either don't wear a watch or wear my Fenix II
