How much import tax is added on as well as the hideous 'handling / admin fee'? It'll bump £115 up by a fair bit.

£500 of a new one, I can't see the point of buying used if the saving is not significant.

I've bought from Creation a few times and never had taxes/import fee. Always a risk though I guess.

@dammit any particular reason for liking GMT watches in general, or is it just the Rolex? I always thought if you want a second time zone there are better duel time options. I especially like the JLC Reverso.
I had a browse of chrono24 the other day and I was pretty surprised that pretty much without exception* every non-rolex gmt was fucking hideous.
*actually nomos was probably the only one exception.

So just walked past the super swank Rolex man-bracelet store here in Barca on Avda. Diagonal, loads of (what looked like) brand spankers Submariners... Pour quoi? Thought they weren't being made atm?
BTW Tudor can >>>>>>>>>>>> deffo getting a Sub... /sheeple.jpg/

I'm travelling a lot these days- 2/3 days a week I am overseas at the moment, so having local time/GMT at a glance appeals to me.

my current 18 rotation has changed a lot in the past month! pleased with it though considering fairly modest investment, have 3 watches on my wish list but commited to sticking to 18+1 on wrist to keep the missus happy so as and when they arrive I have to move others on :/

Lovely... Very clear aesthetic there... :)

What's that second row from the top, far right?
-
• #15614
that's a uniform wares with one of their Milanese straps, I moved it from another uniform wares watch and the lugs are closer together so it's a bit tight and I need to add links, looks good though I think
the one it came off is the +1 on my wrist

Tried on both a new 39mm Explorer and the 36mm Explorer it's replaced a couple of days ago. The 36mm is far and away the more balanced 'aesthetically pleasing' of the two. It's also more likely to start rocketing up in value now it's been discontinued.

I prefer the 39mm. The 36 looks too small on my wrist.

Splitter!

• #15620
I would synchronise my watches for that picture.
-
• #15621
Looking at the two side by side my observations were that the 39 has a short minute hand (they simply haven't bothered to fit a longer one that would cover the hour markers), which irritated me.
Also the 3 / 6 / 9 markers are a sort of glossy dark grey while nothing else on the watch is - they just look a bit out of place. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and the 36 didn't look too small at all.

Let me have a think - I'll pop into a Jewellers and have a look at one tomorrow.
