Alsal couldn't change the bezel without drilling out the one that's already on there... Boo...

I'm gonna try the hair dryer method, he said that sounded like a good idea... He suggested using a bit of BlueTack to prise the old bezel off once it was loose enough...

Watch feels great, weighty... Would've preferred a flat crystal and a cyclops, didn't realise it was domed but still very nice... Feels like a metal Toy Watch... ;)

If you don't like the crown on pilot watches, I found this

Maybe cuz my Ollech & Wajs has a normal crown, it feels less showy and more functional in a modern watch... I'm sure a big nipple of a crown would've been very useful if you were 10,000ft up on your way to bomb the crap out of London and wearing mahoosive sheepskin gloves...

It looks 10x better with the ceramic bezel insert. Change it yourself. I did. Easy peasy.

Ah! I personally like the position because its less likely to dig into ones hands when riding a bike. I have rough skin where my crown rubs my hand. #noeuph
