wonders if CB will ever really get it

the junkers are nice, but for me, the triangular logo on the dial is a bit loud/too big/too contrasty on all the models I've seen.

Yeah the logo kills it for me too. Saw a few in Paris two weeks ago, and they are lovely in the flesh. Also a bit too similar to a Junghans for me

So I found myself in an 'upmarket' knockoff watch store just perusing the goods. Looked at some lovely rolexes and speedmasters.
I was impressed by how real they looked. Until the auto I was looking at beeped at me like a casio... It even had a moving rotor and everything.

New Apple Watch looks rubbish
-
• #13837
Yep pretty much. The 'digital crown' looks awfully fiddly. Maybe because I wear my watch on my right wrist, but I'd never consider adjusting the time without taking the watch off, can't imagine this would be any better?

It looks like it was designed in the early 70s for a movie that's set in the 2000s...
-
• #13839
So, are you guys waiting the next edition to start the shopping?

Apple can fuck off...

Rumors are giving Apple merged with oranges in a matter of 2000 milliseconds. Available on the market with a 18-Karat Rose Gold chain to be hooked on your best piece of fashion as the ultimate pocket watch.

• #13842
Nope. Still would rather a Swatch than an "Apple Watch".
-
• #13843
Or a Casio G-Shock Bluetooth if I wanted "smart".
-
• #13844
or...
-
• #13845
Yep

• #13846
Motorola 360 looks waaaaay nicer.
-
• #13847
anyone want to speculate on what the price might be?
-
• #13848
I think I'll stick to my automatics and disposable Casios for the time being...

Current "exchange" rate for the new iPhone 6 is 1.2 ($649 vs £539 for the 16Gb) which puts the Apple Watch at £290 or, more likely, £299.
