My Rolex 5700 was 34mm and I really liked it size wise. Bit of a shock when swapping between my 45mm divers though.

Whether you want to wear a big or small watch is your choice, but don't be fooled into thinking a small watch will look bad. A nice watch is a nice watch. Conversely I could pull off wearing a huge face on my tiny wrists if I chose wisely.
