At least it's not one of the goofy square ones.

Sorry to kick a watch when it's down, but that B&R is shite.

Nice effort with the Seiko 5, smart understated auto with useful day date complication. Tough call, maybe a brown croc starp would show it off.

Having seen a Pelagos at the airport I decided that I didn't actually like it as much in the flesh as in the pictures.
Decided to stick with the Tudors though and got this second hand. Am particularly liking the fact that it's actually thin enough to fit under a shirt cuff unlike most dive watches.

^^^ You can't 'see' a Pelagos at an airport, you have to wear it, live with it. When new it's like an expensive, but stiff, leather jacket with a silk lining. After a few months you realise it fits you like a glove and is indeed - perfect.

I couldn't help but read that in the voice of Swiss Tony.
It just didn't quite sit right when I tried it, a little too big for me I think.

It was written in the voice of Swiss Tony, but dressed as a beautiful woman.

I just found a bit of money that I didn't know I had and all I can see when I close my eyes is a new watch.
-
• #13165
I think you'll find that's my money...

You know what its like....just going through your laundry pile and find ten grand in the pocket of one of your hoodies.
Jokes. I wish. Definitely going in the dream watch savings fund though.

In terms of Tudors (such as the one I put up above) is there a significance to the Prince name? I tried googling it but not come up with anything.
-
• #13168
I think they use Prince like Rolex uses Oyster. I.e. a bit randomly.

Sorry to interrupt the porn but... I'm clumsy. I have dropped and bumped my Hamilton khaki (eta 2824) a few times. Nothing drastic, usually off the bedside table or against a door jam. The regulation changes a bit though. I have had it running at +15, -7, +2 and more recently +7 (I have had the watch for 6 month). Is this normal? I thought the anti shock system would be a little more robust. It looks like incabloc.

Milgauss (black face) or Palegos?

http://www.watchonista.com/sites/default/files/watchographer/2914/albums/tudor_pelagos_watchonista_1_0.jpgI love the understaded looks of the rolex (it's the only one I'd wear) but I really had my heart set on a titanium...Don't like the lack of date window but it would affect the anti magnetic properties.

I predict you chaps will hate this, I'm enjoying it however:
You are implying that being Swatch like is a bad thing...
...well it is when it costs fifty time the price. Are B&R able to make a watch that isn't fucking huge? I see them a lot in Canary Wharf.
