You have four diving watches?
Sort of with Ed on this.
What makes you wear one over the other?

Been speaking to Helson and they're gonna bring out the Sharkdiver bronze in the 40. I'm torn between waiting for it to come out or getting the 42. I think the 42 might be a little too big. I want it to be my daily wear.
Now I can't try one on, so what would be comparable in size to try out available in a shop in London. Rolex sub/sea dweller?

Between Stonehedge's girlfriend's 40mm, and an Armida A8 in SW4, you might be able to try both sizes. The A8 is a little slimmer, but otherwise has similar dimensions to the 42 Helson. The Deepsea is 42.999, but 17mm thick. Where are you?

That Sinn ain't bad. Maybe too much subdivision.

I'm in Holloway. I've not looked up dimensions on the rollers yet. Thought the collectivem may know already.
Beers combined with watch geekery?

I'm often up at arsenal for matches. Would be happy to bring some watches to try on.
For what its worth, the 45 is nowhere near as big as I thought. The a4 is the same width but with narrower lugs and taller.
The 40 is a really nice size but small to some peoples taste.
My experience of the 42 is that it wears quite a lot smaller than the 45.

Good afternoon all.
Any tips on a premium NATO starp?
Are they all much of a muchness or does the quality vary?
Cheers

Quality varies. Timefactors ones get my vote.

Would be great to take you up on that before Xmas if you don't mind (I want to make use of the 10% discount if possible. Will happily buy you a beer.

Yup, solid... Lot's of shitty ones about that cost the same as the Rhinos but nowhere near as good quality... Thick material and beefy hardware...

Any suggestions for anyone to do a service of an old-ish (probably 1970s) Omega Seamaster that are cheaper than SwissTimeServices? They've quoted around £350 which is a bit more than I was hoping for.
