He mentioned maybe Melbourne once. Shit, beat me there.

Ps. I miss polo. Bad.
-
• #304
Will still be in London just not playing polo.
-
• #305
Y u no play polo? As you might say yourself.
-
• #306

-
• #307
I'll be back in a couple of years if Melbourne is shit.
-
• #308
It's alright, I lived there for a while. Not as good as London though.
-
• #309

Ps. I miss polo. Bad.
You were missed/spoken of fondly last night at newbie, mostly girls polo :(
Btw, I think I am living v near Quorn Road courts now - is it close to Sainsbury's at Dog Kennel Hill??
-
• #311
just across the road from it, yeah
-
• #312
Another +1 to missing Ben.
To be honest I've heard him talk about it for a while now. I recon he'll be back in a years time or so.
-
• #313

I didn't think there could be that many Quorn Rds in London! Sweet! Have hopefully found a solo polo spot close to home!
-
• #314
That court is as rough as a badgers arse. Avoid.
-
• #315
The surface, I mean.
-
• #316
^ spoilt.
Quorn road is from a time when newt was rationed and every other court had a bad surface anyway (downham, that place westies played on that was huge before the thunderdome named after a mermaid? And Peckham)
-
• #317
I will fight you for saying anything disparaging about Downham.
-
• #318
Megalulz... DO SOME WORK, MRAK!
-
• #319
I am writing about the Priest of Diana at Nemi. That's work.
-
• #320
Downham is shit right now though. I really wish it wasn't, I miss those days, no other court is quite like it for the social element.
-
• #321
That court is as rough as a badgers arse. Avoid.
I'm aware of it's shortcomings but I'm figuring practising on a rough surface will make playing on a nice one better? Like when you learn to ski on a dry ski slope, actual snow is a whole world of better?
Anyway, where else is there in Peckham/Peckham borders to solo polo?
-
• #322
See the "Wanted: Polo Courts + Lights" (or whatever its called) thread.
I recommend Sunray Gardens as a nicer option than Quorn Road. Or Brunswick Park.
The court on the way to New Cross is on a slope, dont bother with it.
-
• #323
Right, have to go west!
-
• #324
Ooh! I used to do flatland in Sunray Gardens! Ta Kevin!
