Road Rides/Races

lol @ NJS on a road bike. We go mountain biking most Sundays if anyone fancies joining? Might join in a road ride but have sold my gears :'(

this one will be flat, so no gears necessary

just bought some new lycra...oh dear...you shall laugh at me in lycra on carbon going about 5mph....still not got fitness back at all after 5 weeks off the bike...fuck it...it shall be fun...am excited..

weather doesn't look too great/ too awful: light showers.

@ nes - you rolling on carbon??? ok, i'll take the px out for a spin...

@ everyone else... if its a bit wet - think mudguards - not for your butt - for the folk sucking your wheel... i'll apologise now, i cant mount guards on anet - not even a ghetto guard... sorry

I made some wooden mudguards ages ago for my bike, if it's a little soggy this might be the time to fit them!

not full carbon just forks and rear end...can't get guards on there either i don't think...and not really used to riding as a pack so might wanna steer clear of me anyway, though that's another reason i wanna do it...

No guards for me either - we can all have muddy faces together - like a bonding thing!

Fixed and lycra for me. No guards for me neither. A winter road ride ain't a real road ride unless you finish it covered in mud and horseshit.

just got a goddam email saying they were out of stock of the ones i ordered even though the website said they were in stock. bastards.ah well will have to wait...next time...

have you tried primera they are usually pretty quick and if you call them they'll send it out straight away

hey nes, last sept me and ben did winnats for a laugh, up and back round mam tor off road-----remember--you guys were playing polo in the rain? it was f....g belting it down and ben had one wool layer on ha!
anyway get off screen and get training..........................
