I would like to say that the SPD-R pedals are awesome on the track. Absolutely no chance of pulling out of them, and they definitely seem to give extra power

I've got a pair of 105 SPD-Rs, abit battered but good for training, would use them my self but my shoes don't have drillings for them.

The Ultegra ones in Charlton Halfords came with some cleats found at the back of a drawer and scanned through the till at precisely £10.00!

I think there was a pair of black 105 SPD-R in the cabinet too but definitely no cleats for those.

I'm gonna stick my neck out an say, I don't like spd-r. too difficult to get in and out of and don't feel as nice as my spd-sl (imho). That is all.

Yes they were expensive, yes they are dura ace. yse I probably paid a little too much for them. But they are doing the job nicely, thank you very much!!
