Dieing of cancer aint much fun, so for that alone, she gets my sympathy. Also have to feel for her young children, cos losing a mother at that age isn't going to be a walk in the park either. But, if she cares so much about their future and all that bollox. Why did she marry a golf-club wielding wide boy, who lets face it, is probably going to find a way to scarper back to Essex with all the cash as soon as the final nail is in her coffin.

She moved out to make an unsuccessful TV series and rented the house to my girlfriend for 6 months.
It was really weird, you'd get invitations through the door inviting you to D-class perfume launches. Cab drivers would ask "why are you going to Jade's?" and then happily reminisce about tipping off the press when it looked like she was having a domestic. Racism and stupidity aside (and I'm not sure that she's unrepresentative of the majority on those fronts) you couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for her.

Jade is a multi millionaire, look at all the magazines, newspapers, fitness DVD's, story rights/exclusives(I think she got £1.5 just for the wedding?), perfume etc she's sold

The wedding is worth so much because of her current situation, which obviously also means that she won't be around afterwards to enjoy the cash.
Of the rest, only the fitness DVDs, perfume and the exclusives are worth anything. She obviously doesn't get money for people simply writing about her when she's not involved. I'd be prepared to believe that lot might add up to more than £1M, but bear in mind that it's income over several years and she's got two kids and a ne'er-do-well boyfriend to support. Compare with your own net worth over your lifetime.
People associate being famous with being rich, but only because successful actors, musicians, sports personalities and business people become famous during the process of becoming rich, or as a result of being rich. Fame on its own has surprisingly little value attached. In Jade's case, even if she was a millionaire, it's probably not worth the trade-off of having half the country hate you (and create threads like these while you're on the way out...?)

she made the trade off when she went on the fucken 'who wants to be a celebrity' show in the first place, so it was blatantly worth it to her

Shame her entire life was gone by without her ever grasping the concept of dignity and self respect.
But i wouldn't wish death on anyoneI think it's sad how her whole life has been defined by events on Big Brother. She comes to fame on it, then falls from grace on it with the petty, racist comments and then while on Indian BB trying to re-build her character is informed she has cervical cancer.

You didn't see Roy Castle going to the papers to "help support a family", he got out there and did the 'right' thing with his well deserved celebrity status; which was campaigning his arse off to raise awareness of Cancer in all it's forms. And he didn't take a single penny from it all.
As Markyboy said the levels of people going for a check up have increased and it is supposedly down to her being in the papers 24/7 until she presumably dies, which I do think is great. But in response to her selling her story in aid of "funding her family", there is a thing called a job that 99% of the British public have/need to support a family/live; and something that her idiotic fiance could quite easily go and get.
But then he's on a tag for beating some kid up so he's hardly going to be favoured over someone else. Oh well.
