  • Food can definitely be on the cards - I'll try and buy the required materials tomorrow and get something bubbling away. Lamb's defrosted and I've got most of the required bits for a tagine which should do the job. Room for a few more bikes here too.

  • I'll bake something tonight - probably plum, marzipan and cinammon muffins if I can get half decent plums.

  • Eliot Bank is fucking ace.

I might be up for this, but would definitely be on gears.

Up London Road and then turn right (isn't it Eliot Bank one way ?) rather than up Sydenham Hill and turn left?

  • Yeah, I normally go over canonbie, right onto Honor Oak, right onto London Road, left onto Eliot bank

  • You brute!

  • This is the way I've done it...with horniman sandwiched in between. But then I didn't do the Annerly hills afterwards.

  • i know i few good hills in the area! But where is one without all the killer pot holes????

  • You brute!

That's it though. I get the bus there and back.

  • Nice map embed ... cough ...

  • Yeah dude, some shit-hot coding going on behind there for sure...

  • So, so this "Crystal Palace". Where exactly is the meeting spot?

Sorry, s'not my neck of the woods.

  • Cafe st Germain... here

  • just off to bed after a bit of a big night... hopefully i will be sober by 8! lucky i only live 2 mins from the cafe meeting point.

  • Leaving the house now. Will bring coffee.

  • Oh, CSG. Righty-ho.

I left my sodding puncture stuff at work. Fingers crossed.

  • Would anyone without the usual enlarged piss-take gland care to share the know behind getting a map in a post like that?

  • I've got my puncture repair stuff. On the train, on time and due into CP just after 8 so should be at CSG about 8.15.

Apologies for the lack of speed, I wasn't on a climbing gear...

  • Embed work!
    Refresh works.

Thanks for coming out on that. Apologies for cutting sections short, it was getting a bit busy*. Also apologies for not leading 100% effectively.

    *That's my excuse.

  • That was nice damo, thank you. . . . meanwhile in North London . . .

  • Top drawer, that was. Punchy stuff. Cheers to the man in the slightly camp Sidis.

Should definitely sort out a Northern equivalent. I'll have a think...

Pascalo did some extra code - take a look here. It should be as simple as copying and pasting a link from the relevant site, I believe. That's what I did, anyway.

And a nice ride today, thanks Damo (and others). It did get rather busy towards the end though, which is a shame when all you want is the freedom to grind...

I eagerly await the northern leg...

  • Nice embedding... and a good ride, thanks Damo. Looking forward to returning the hospitality oop north.

  • Slightly camp?
They're full on Darth down Horsemeat Disco vibes.
