The dent is really unnoticeable, it had to be pointed out, and even then I coulldn't detect it without a spirit level. It's underneath the downtube. It's too small for you though, there's something odd about the way they measured it. Bring a centimetre tape, is my advice!
they have a tape in the store - It's definitely 59cm, not 49cm as they advertised on their website a few months ago (after you told me about it fiddy). needless to say I was gutted!

though I think they may have sold it now as it's not listed on their site

I'm going to phone them first thing on Monday to find that out.
Fingers crossed currently.

They still have it- but it is a 57cm, so too small for me.

Boo X 2.
They are talking crap. its a 59cm, 59 top 59 seat, with a big fat '59' sticker on the frame.
Lazy buggers could not even be bothered to check, not desperate for a sale then.

The chap sounded very sure of himself when he told me that it would not fit as it was a 57cm?
Not wishing to doubt your word at all Guy- would have thought he'd a) know his stock, and b) be keen to sell this as it has been in the shop for a long time now.
Odd.

After discovering you want to use it as a road bike, I am off there now with £450 to buy it, to stop you doing such a thing.
Good job its my LBS and I can get there before you can even phone them.

Well he is wrong. a) Apparently not b) apparently not
Anyway, I am just going to go an buy it to stop use using it on the road, so it is moot

Is using it on the road really such a crime?
It's going to go to Herne Hill as well if that helps?

It is a 59cm.
Now the question is will they give a warrantee on the frame?
-
• #37
i think that it would be too small for you going by the dimension of seatpost and bars on butler

The majority of that post was in the frame- it was the only 27.2 post in Evans when I needed to buy it.
I'm 6'2", normally ride a 58cm, so thought that it would be ok?
The Butler was too small for me- one of the reasons I am selling it.
EDIT- as in it felt too short.
yes you must. [submiminal message: sell me the nag]
