I don't think so.
It doesn't even appear that the rear brake is wired up.

Free migraine with every 2010 Pompino.

i'd be pretty pissed if i bought a 2010 pompino without the disk mount
i'd much rather have v brakes on mine. But i do prefer the dropouts on the disc version. Does it have removable v brake mounts?

Looks like one to me, and they are discussing how to rig it in the comments

Did I see cable guide on the drive side of the seat stay? it look like you can use a internal gears hubs on it, like a 3 speed fixed.

How do you reckon these frames will hold up for tricks and polo...?
I saw there was some talk over these on the polo threads..
Anyone use one for tricks/polo? -
• #134
I use one for polo, I absolutely love it. I've only been using it a few weeks now. But it is brilliant, has everything I was looking for in a new frame, and for £150.

same here, i love mine too.
it really is an awesome frame, especially at the ridiculous price. -
• #136
Want to get a photo up?
Tricks anyone? -
• #137
mine barspins, and i don't get toe-overlap even with 170 cranks. You won't be able to break it (see above for further evidence) la la la
what more do you want!? -
• #138
Sweet, yeah I just want something on the cheap dude...
What is your set up? -

Polo
= V brake, mtb cranks, polo disc.

My daily commute is quite a distance and I do it in all weather so I quite like the idea of a disc brake Pomp. I have a (baby blue) V model now which is the best all rounder I have ever owned (it replaced my Tricross). Discs don't wear the rims, fade in the wet, or leave your bike covered in grey crap. I accept they are a little heavier then V's but the weight is at the hub where it has less noticeable effect.
I might be tempted. -

Shame they lost the braze on cable stop for the rear brake IMO. I don't see the point in cleaning up the frame like that when it still has brake bosses and all those welds on the seat stays.
i have a green one and it has the canti stop
However, my new (ie, old but found in the warehouse during the move) blue one doesnt. Ive no idea what thats about.
Youre right about the welds though. Theyre not pretty. And mine has chunks of seat stay cap missing that are clearly from the factory and pre-paint coat.

The touring pompino is built up, fitted some sks gaurds. The rack/panniers/handlebar bag will be birthday presents i think! while it will have a nice dark british green powdercoat prior to the lejog. Comfortable to ride and rolls reasonably fast on the 28 randos its definately a work horse and up to the job!

off to the powdercoaters this saturday.. though still not sure about the colour. May get the rack done at the same time

After around 1200 miles on this (ahem) 'Medium' 2009 frameset....

....I have replaced it with a Large 2010-spec one. It's just as brilliant, but fits me much nicer (I suggest anyone looking to buy one that they ignore On-One's sizing guide!).
I love the (flawless) metallic brown finish on this year's model!
