I wanted to know whether the choice of rims is down to durablitiy and weight, as oppose to how it look.

The San Marco Concor being a good choice for tricks??
I would says it a bit expensive for a bike to do trick in, in my own opinion, a better choice would be the Soma Ta-bo, cheap as chip and an copy of the original San Marco Turbo.
It might actually be a coincidence, but artisitic bike saddles angle up (dramatically!) at the back, this helps with wheelies....you can really push your arse backwards to pop the front up and acts as a foot pad when doing more complex tricks.....the saddle pictured, unlike modern race saddles and the above turbo, has a pronounced ramp at the back....which was why I guessed it might have been deliberate....I may be wrong..
check the saddle on my trick bike:

actually that make a lots of sense now, althought I doubt it's really a necessity when you look at people doing wheelies on MTB whose saddle the size of a finger.

true, wanna try my bike sometime?
I looked up the cost of a replacement saddle for it...a lot more than a concor!

I reckon if you coughed whilst leaning back slightly on winstons bike, you would wheelie, and then potentially backflip, the backwards slope on that seattube is crazy!
It looks like one of those proper fixed gear ballet type trick bikes that the crazy guys in lycra use....am I right? -

Sorry just noticed you said something about it being one of those "artistic" cycling bikes.

Andy, are you trying to say that the 'Swagger' thing muggins was trying to sell for £1,000 is a Kona Paddy Wagaon with a lick of paint and some shit graffiti font on it that is worse than what I was doing when I was 10years old on bus shelters?

I'm not trying to ruin Dean and swagger.
Yes it is a Kona, SuperTed did the brake cable boss/bottle boss removal on it. Then he turns around and slags us off.
We can only take so much before we retaliate... with words.

WOW, who applied that decal. It seems to be coming away at the corners. Such quality, how much? Lets not go into the paint, and how easily it chips, but make that money boyz:)

Ah! That was the prototype... it's been cut up now. I can see why you are confused now. The paint was done at Armourtex, you know the place, don't you? It's where you get your bikes painted right?!
Armourtex for life yo!

he sold a Giant Bowery for £750 a while ago and still claim it's not a Giant despite numberous evidence.

I'll tell you what... I'll do a deal with you.
You stop catting first.
They are Rigida box section touring rims... the bike is not supposed to look pretty it's all done for function.
Although it's not finished in this pic (still needs seatpost clamp, pedals and bar ends.
The finished bike will be slightly different to this. We are still testing!
