tokyo fixed gear is most definatley a english company, a guy called max owns the company, he's currently refurbing my frame for me. I dont think you will be paying any import tax from him. He used to live in japan with his girlfriend so i think thats where the name comes from. I know his girlfriend is japanese so he has a lot of contacts in japan for frames, bikes and parts and can get quite a lot of stuff. Hes also a top bloke so i'm sure he can help you with stuff you want.

does anyone know if tokyo fixed gear are in the UK? i.e. if you place an order with them is there the chance you might get nailed for import tax?(yesterday i paid an extra 14.66 for a 3 tee shirts from the US - £8 of which was charged by royal mail as a "handling fee").

+1 BLB for the win,also little tip, when a shop is a pop up shop,its not a proper shop and it makes returning anything impossible,and with the name Tokyo fixed gear it can confuse the customer,and it seems dodgy to me,either that or he is just geographically confused. This is the UK, United Kingdom.If you are English you should be proud of it.GOOOO BRITAIN.

max is a fucking top bloke and went totally out of his way to help me find a frame when i was out in tokyo (when he used to live there). took me round all the bike shops, gave me a realistic price, let me pet his small dog etc etc...
