Just from Tracko's flickr, I think. Unfortunately no pictures of the full bike I could find..

This might of use to anyone (to be exact, anyone as ignorant as me..) thinking about restoring an old head badge. I bought this:
and saw a picture somewhere on the web of what I assumed to be its original colours, thought 'I can do that', wiped over the badge with a cloth and, with a my tin of Humbrol, got to work. By the time I'd finished, it looked so bad that I decided to remove it. The paint had dried, so I used a soft wire brush and paint brush cleaner. The Humbrol came off easily but I kept going and lo and behold the original colour re-appeared. Guess it was oxidisation? Not really sure. Anyway to go from my bodge to revealing the original craftmanship was so lucky - I really do think it is awesome!!

oh dear
General Lucifer used to have a frame that he thought was a Generale Lucifer
I now realise it was probably a Genial Lucifer, meaning Brilliant Lucifer

I thought he realised that a long time ago?
I think he's told the story somewhere on here.

I've seen this before:
But never seen the head badges. They are incredible! I'd really love one of those.
I'll stick with 'General' for now, but I do like the 'Génial' tag. -
