I think you need to catch up a bit :-)
That's a road crank, Campag still use square taper on their track cranks, no?
I use square taper and don't notice any flex. What is actually going to flex, can't see the axle bending?
Maybe I am just not as fat as you :-)
Outboard bearing BB's flex shit loads less than traditional BB's, where the flex is I don't know because I'm no expert but you can feel it with in seconds of pedalling.

The Mavic SSC chainset was lovely. My brother had one and the finish was so much better than the equivalent C-Record.

I got the De Rosa 50th Anniversary cranks, originally with the chainring.
But the chainring is 3/32" and not 1/8" so I am now in need of Black Chainring.
I have selected a Sugino Messenger. But on reflection I think it will look appalling. The disc like Chainring look aint happening for me or these cranks.
Any suggestions on a black spidery cutaway minimalistic (?? description) chainring.
Only the campag stuff has caught my eye so far.....

Good point, guess that is why no one uses square taper on the track as they are just flexing all over the place.
I am surprised any amount of flex can be picked up through a shoe/pedal interface to the degree you could notice but you must have special senses or something :-)
Anyway, you can feel if so clearly a selling factor for you. I am glad I can't so I don't have to limit my choices.

^^
Those chainrings look outstanding, especially the one built by the japanese enthusiast.
I managed to track down a vintage black 130bcd Dura Ace 7400 series 3/32' chainring from campyoldy.
Should work well with the De Rosa's. I've had to go with 3/32" thickness though.
