I went for a knockabout in Brockwell Park, park keeper told me to get off the court as it was strictly for volleyball use (the volleyball net was up), "No bikes!" he said... I asked him if I could play basketball instead as there are very basketball boards/hoops at either end of the court... "Oh, yeah" he replied... At this moment I knew I'd beaten the jumped-up, jobsworth cunt...

I then informed him we'd played a tournament on that very court in 2010 and that if anyone wanted to come on the court and play volleyball (or basketball) I would, of course, vacate the court...

There was absolutely no one in the park, all six tennis courts were empty, I passed maybe 5 or 6 people walking their dogs, maybe two or three joggers...

I'm now catching up on work emails and about to have a spot of lunch at Le Reej...
