I don't mean to be rude, but slacking on a stage day is pretty bad. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
(I guess I'll be there when Adrienne is there).
(Watching the Tour on my phone).

Pffff!?! Only cat 3 and 4 climbs today, Tourmalet tomorrow for Quatorze Juillet...
I'll be watching on your phone too...

The Cat 3 is already done. It's a Cav stage, and after yesterday, they will be doing everything the can to make sure he gets it. So it could be a great upset. Or the most boring stage of the tour thus far. We'll see.
(from my phone at the court).

I often find the tour to be as much an endurance event for the watchers as the participants.
5 hours a day for most of a month.
Don't get me wrong I do like watching the occasional stage and I have the utmost respect for anyone that even attempts doing it, let alone those that do well. But not playing polo to watch them is a step too far.

Listen, I think it's going to far to let jobs get in the way of polo. But that's just me. We all have our own crosses to bear.

well ive got new cranks/freewheel, and i doesnt gotst monies at the mo, no polo for me till after the weekend me thinks
That makes no sense, you got new cranks and freewheel but can't use them because you have no chain...
-
• #1385
yes... theyre of a different chain width to the last freewheel and crankset i had, and i canny afford a new chain at the mo
-
• #1386
I'm sure you know this, but just in case: if you went from 1/8 to 3/32, you can still use the 1/8 chain.
-
• #1387
^ a good reason to only ever use 1/8 chains
-
• #1388
I think I'm out for proper slackers but might make my way down to Newt early.
-
• #1389
You watch, there'll be no one at Newt 'til 5.30 at the earliest...

You know there are bridges that cross the Thames. Just look forward when you're crossing if the water is that scary.

If any slackers (non 9-5) folk can help move court materials from 10am tomorrow it'd be much appreciated. We need 7 or more ideally (fireman's chain style), there are 5 currently:
- Jono
- Adam
- Ali
- Sandy
- Ryan
