i was all over slackers, but the i realised i need a chain

Slack(ers) chain.

I don't mean to be rude, but slacking on a stage day is pretty bad. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pffff!?! Only cat 3 and 4 climbs today, Tourmalet tomorrow for Quatorze Juillet...

The Cat 3 is already done. It's a Cav stage, and after yesterday, they will be doing everything the can to make sure he gets it. So it could be a great upset. Or the most boring stage of the tour thus far. We'll see.

I often find the tour to be as much an endurance event for the watchers as the participants.

Don't get me wrong I do like watching the occasional stage and I have the utmost respect for anyone that even attempts doing it, let alone those that do well. But not playing polo to watch them is a step too far.

Listen, I think it's going to far to let jobs get in the way of polo. But that's just me. We all have our own crosses to bear.

That makes no sense, you got new cranks and freewheel but can't use them because you have no chain...

yes... theyre of a different chain width to the last freewheel and crankset i had, and i canny afford a new chain at the mo

I'm sure you know this, but just in case: if you went from 1/8 to 3/32, you can still use the 1/8 chain.

If any slackers (non 9-5) folk can help move court materials from 10am tomorrow it'd be much appreciated. We need 7 or more ideally (fireman's chain style), there are 5 currently:

Really sorry I can't help tomorrow, shit loads of work to do, but definitely can help with building boards/supports next week, and have fri/mon off either side of the open to put up/tear down. I can do some driving those days if needs be too.
