Racing summercross at HHV tomorrow night. I rode Round 1 crashed twice (losing the front end) on Gravelkings SK.
Since my skills won't have improved would I be better off fitting a pair of Vittoria Terreno Mix I have in the shed?

More grip is almost always better and run 25psi

25 psi at Herne Hill is brave.

Anyone ridden one of these frames?

latex tubes obvs
-
• #9332
Why? I usually run a bit lower without any issues
-
• #9333
There's a lot of rubble in the ground in the bit over the back. It's better than it was, but I've seen lots of people ruin expensive tubs there.

Tubs at HH is not, but the tubeless Vittoria terrenos are tough as nails.
I think I was running under 19/21 at the Madison, I'd run a bit higher in the summer but not much -

Did you win the overall this year?
-
• #9342
No, I think Sam Andrews got the overall. I only won when it was exceptionally muddy and/or lots of running.

• #9343
Sam is fast!

Airliners 😉

Did the Senior race descend into chaos last night? Someone broke the course tape in the vets race and what felt like half the field went the wrong way and rejoined the course well ahead of where they were previously. I went from 18th to 32nd in a lap, spent the rest of the race playing Super Mario Kart and regaining places.

Apparently it will take 45's I'd be very interested to see what it will take with 650s

I've been looking at these frames too, the only slight negative I've found is that they have limitations on the chain rings they accept due to the dropped rear stays
Virus recommended a 44/30 for a double but I think they'll accept 34/50 from the info on wiggle and a 40 for a 1x although I've read they'll accept 38 and 42 1x.
Strangely for a CX frame a 36/46 set up may not be possible -
• #9348
How have you got on with them with cross tyres?
-
• #9349
No, it was fairly civilised compared to that.

Haven't noticed them in there, which I guess is what you want?
Sorry forgot to get back to you, there's nothing on the seat tube. It's a junior frameset so it only has bottle bosses on the down tube. I don't if that's different on the adult frames
