What/where?

He was running for days after the barriers. I had jumped on and was fast rolling into him.

It's hard to judge someone when they're deeply uncomfortable during exercise.
If they're a cunt off the bike....
I’m not about to bring him home to meet my parents. I’m only ever going to encounter him in a race so...

Ah, I get it now.
"Jump on... your bike you fucking shitbag!"
Yeah, he's a dick.
-
• #7281
Will just write it off as an experience and ignore it.

Then deliver a cock punch five races in to the season?

@fizzy.bleach did you enter as senior or novice?
-
• #7286
Next time ride close enough so that you cause him to stall his jump or trip.
-
• #7287
Senior - I don't think there was a novice category

After Palace I'm thinking about taking the 42t off the front and going 36t, can't imagine any circuits in London league are to challenge that top end(?). Would be running 36t - 11-32.

Go 39 / 38
36 seems a bit spinny
-
• #7290
I had a niggling feeling that 38t might be a better idea, thanks!
-
• #7291
Won't be there tomorrow. Bad knee and risk of not being let on replacement bus back.
-
• #7292
I've got a 38 with an 11-36 and I think I've touched the 36 for about 30 seconds total and really at that point I should have been running.
-
• #7293
Me either. Got too much work on :(
-
• #7294
Thanks, 38 it is!
Now Oval and round are the same price, shall I open a can of worms and ask if I should just throw an Oval on?!
-
• #7295
I have an oval chainring, it definitely feels a bit different, not sure if it's adding anything though.

Anyone got a working feed for the opening round of the World Cup?
-
• #7297
Bit late but given it’ll be useful in future .com (but this World Cup was only in Belgian)
-
• #7298
World cups are on UCI YouTube live. VPN sorts out the geo blocking.

How was Leeds Castle, anyone? Missed it this year. Last year was brutal and all that rain must have made it sketchyyy.

Back to Temple Newsome park in Leeds (entirely unrelated to Leeds Castle) yesterday. Despite the recent heavy rains, the course was pretty dry and rideable all the way round. Well technically the hurdles were rideable as most riders were doing but I had a hard time not hanging a pedal down and kept catching them in practice so I elected not to risk it in the race and just run them. I was at least as quick as almost anyone else crossing them at the same time, even the lapping riders so I think the caution was worth it for me.
Lots of rooty woodland trails which I handled pretty well except for one stack.Turns out I didn't come last last week and managed to improve on that by beating four riders this week. Going to have my work cut out for me to improve on that for the next race. Next week is the 3 peaks though and I'm treating that as a challenge not a race.
I don't get it. Were you offering him your wheel after he almost crashed? Does 'jump on' have a different meaning in CX? Why would this make someone angry?
