Nope. Even without engineering works, which there is that weekend, it's over 2 hours each way on the train.

£20 for Sunday's race, £35 for the whole weekend, which includes a Fondo on the Saturday where a timed section will see the fastest 20 riders get gridded.

Central league not much better either. Bugger.

I'm just racing. Have raced a lot this season and my childcare credit is running low.

There's a high speed train from St Pancras to Deal, there in an hour and 20 minutes.

My problem is that I can't get to St Pancras easily on that Sunday thanks to engineering works.

Unseasonably warm up in Bradford this morning. Course is looking greasy but firm. Fewer bike changes forecast.

If the conditions hold, it could be a course to favour Jon tomorrow. Let's see how fellow SS rider Isla Rowntree does in the first race.

also Eli Iserbyt is racing elite for what i think is the first time today so will be interesting to see him up against Wout in the belgian nationals
