Very trusting, smooth transacitioning, small business in N. England,
basically a couple of guys in a shed i believe.
Not track specific, but they do do a fixed wheelset for £90. -

WARNING: Avoid Mark Anthony Cycles: I had to raise a Paypal dispute to get a light £30 rear I bought on Fleabay, then they accused me of theft. They appear to have no customer service skills at all. If all goes well then fine, if there is a problem they basically say "f**k you".

The 3 above are all now in the Shops(street-based) list. Pearsons was there already.
This online/internet list is separate. Provenrad recommended it be split, as the online section could not be quickly searched for. He was right, so I changed it.

I didn't think of it, but regarded it only as a bit of fun.....and a useful resource to some also.
Maybe I'll have to have a chat with DK-AKA-VB and see what he thinks, about how it might be done.
I can't maintain lists on everything, so a new process may need to be thought of.
Cheers though.

pissed me right off.Just had the same experience from JE James, but fair enough I was ordering the same R540 pedals for the missus. It just really annoyed me that they only tell you they are out of stock once they have posted the other items... pretty annoying.
Just beware of JE James.

Their site doesn't even have a member area (from what I remember). I couldn't remeber exactly what I ordered (they didn't even send an order acknowledgement/invoice/notification of dispatch) and so I couldn't check previous orders or even tell if it went through ok! Due to not having member area, you cannot change things like postage addresses (mine's different from my bank address) or previous orders, etc - I ended up registering 3 times just so I could bloody order something to the right address. Once you set the address you can go back (or amend - they didn't answer my emails)
They might have changed all this now, but TBH I don't really want to go back and have a look.
Some recomendations:
Fat Birds Don't Fly - http://www.fatbirds.co.uk - Nabbed a few bargains off them, but another one of those sites where they only dispatch to your card address...
Shiny Bikes - http://shinybikes.com/ - Again, had a few bargains through google shop search. -

http://www.totalcycling.com/total cycling have some good stuff, but they dicked around for two weeks without any contact before i got hold of them at which point they told me one of the two items i had ordered had been out of stock and it would take another week to get it in.
i didnt have any other choice and they did offer me the option of canceling the order but a qick call or email within a couple of days of order would have saved me bouncing off the walls for nearly three weeks to finish my bob.

http://www.totalcycling.com/I had so much trouble with activesport. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
I bought a Raleigh Burner Boxfresh BMX from them and sent it back as it really wasn't my thing. When it arrived they claimed it was damaged and wouldn't refund me. I was shocked as I knew I had packaged it well. They also wouldn't send it back until the had decided what to do with it and consulted the owner.
Subsequently they started selling a Boxfresh Burner on ebay again which, I knew had to be mine. I decided the only way of getting my money back was to visit them in Buxton Derbyshire, and assess the damage. I had read a lot of bad reviews about them following my transaction so was wary of what I was getting myself into.
When I arrived I pretended to be a prospective purchaser of the BMX on ebay and asked to see it. It was at their warehouse 5 minutes away so I made the short trip to confirm if it really was my bike. The manager pulled the box out and there was my bike, exactly as I had sent it back. He completely denied any wrong doing and questioned why I had come all the way to get my money back. For me it was a small amount of effort to see over £250 again. Fucking cunts.

Not track specific, but they do do a fixed wheelset for £90.Not far wrong. Its a couple of guys in a tiny shop in a housing estate. They were my LBS as a kid, two streets away.. Took me years to accept that not all LBSs are this good.
definite +infinity.

I ordered a Phil Wood cog from them about a month ago and it took about a week before they bothered to get into contact to tell me it wasn't it stock. They offered to refund me or keep the money and send the cog when it was in stock again, which they estimated to be in two weeks.
I have since ordered the cog from them again and am waiting for news on my order.
