surely you can form a team on the night, like a throw in team? and just play with the same team all night... good for testing out new recruits for league/transfers... im sure there will be some shuffling of league teams for the next league

I didn't want a break in the league for summer as I was looking forward to playing more evening games and being able to play north with my team mates. But thinking about it, a break would allow players to try out playing with other people and maybe form new teams - allowing regular teamless players to form teams, and current teams to maybe switch players.

(*not me by the way, more about getting others involved)

So I think if we have a break in the league, it should be encouraging throw-ins rather than team games.

I wouldn't care, but I think some people could (especially if there were more than a couple of teams wanting to play each other). Shuffling is pretty contentious at times.

This is resolvable by having a "team night" which allows throw-ins, but team games get priority (and this could include teams set up for the night - it's fun to play other "regular" teams, but it's also worthwhile just to play as a team yourself, regardless of who you're playing).

i might be able to come for 45 mins on thurs ... And it was really funny cause cornelius wanted to know whether we were having an off season cause he thought the polo players were missing out on other events. He misses us...
