Polo team games

I'd like to do do a team night this Thursday for sure.

I know there are lots of good teams and players in London, but what I heard was that 3 of the best players in town got beaten by a provincial team...

so it was a SHOCKER

It's not always about having 3 of the best players on the same team.
It's sometimes about gelling as a team and developing an understanding.

Oxford were battling hard to salvage their reputation as the home team.

Haven't the Oxford Toffs been going for longer than London Bike Polo?

I'm glad we didn't have to play them this time.. I remember them beating us at the BFF tourney last summer. Grrr!

"Battling hard", is that what it's called? I thought it was desperate...

Once they started getting called out for their 'hard battling' they actually played decent polo against you cosmic guys. And they've been playing about the same length of time as some of us in London but longer then any of the cosmic boys, mostly on grass though.

I guess Iain is going to be gone on Thursday. But i'm still up for some team night action if anyone else is. There hasn't been much interest in this, so i guess we can just see what happens tomorrow night.

Jo isn't here either and I haven't asked Hops but I'm still up for it too... maybe it'll just be throw ins?
