Am thinking of replacing my Lidl road shoes in the not too distant future. Found these two on clearance on a local site (so I can send them back easier, if they dont fit).
Northwave Aerator 3 SBS.
Diadora Ergo carbon.
I have slightly wide feet so the Northwave might be a better bet, but the Diadora ergos are apparantly more comfort focused than the performance orientated Northwave. Any experiances with either shoe or brand? -

If it's any help, I've had Diadora shoes but they were just too narrow (I need Specialized shoes for width), but the other half has just bought a pair of Northwaves and said they are just as wide as the spesh ones she tried on.

Lots of help, Cheers.
TBH this should be a no brainer. The heel fit of the northwave is highly spoken of on tinternet as well (I really hate heel lift), I just preferred the look of the Diadora.

well...I guess I'm after the impossible. I want non-leather cycling shoes that don't look like cycling shoes. Meh.

I'm a nice girl really, but a muppet. Only at brick lane? Every time I go in there I find I need to sacrifice a goat to the god of pleasant bike shops. I'm running out of goats.

New shoes!
the question is, do I go classic clips and straps with those old school cleats for the track, or new fangled SPD-SLs?
both work with these shoes. -

Bugger Northwave sold out. Found these on the same site though.
MEM MC-Tech Carbon reflex. They Seem to be exactly what I am looking for, with the added bonus of being uber reflective (I am a self confessed Hi-Viz fashion victom). Only problem is I cant seem to find any info on them or MEM, other than that they are produced by Marco Andretta, who used to be part of DMT. Any one know anything about them?PS. eyebrows, those shoes are well nice!

Found a source for these NOS Detto Pietro wooden soled shoes. Circa 1984
Designed for toeclip and strap use and not drilled for clipless.
Size 45 are definately available. Will have info for other sizes later.
35 euros + 15 Euro shipping = 50 Euro (Approx £45)
I should have mine next week.
We shouldn't order more until mine arrive just so buyers know what to expect.
But if you are interested please do PM your size. Not sure how they compare to Sidi.
