I've just checked my email, he's hoping to release it by the end of March. I spoke with him at the Cycle Show, a very nice guy and a great product.

Yours Nuknow? They're the Dromarti ones, made by Maresi, yes?
-

Not mine..., I'd post them before on the 'trainers' thread, but now saw this at CWMD's blog.
I wish though, they go for something like +£150.
Lovely handmade shoes : ) -

Release got bumped to the end of May, and still waiting. Have emailed him again to see when he thinks they'll be available.

I have the brown ones. They are fantastic and should last a lifetime. I got the e-mail from them about black. Very tempted.
Highly recommended.

Does anyone stock these so you can try them on or is it mail-order only?
-
• #142
AFAIK, mail order only, unless you can visit their place in Putney, although they will quite happily swap for a different size.
They are on the small side, which I found out through experience, so you might like to order one size bigger than your usual.
Mind you, maybe this is normal with cycling shoes. The previous pair I bought were Shimano and I had the same problem.

Anyone tried these? Not as good looking as the others posted here, but similar sort of thing and a fair bit cheaper.
-
• #144
These were supposedly coming out in Spring 2010 (possibly only in the States) though I've not found anywhere that stocks them.
Pretty sure they don't have fitting plates for cleats though.

Those are completely BUTTERS, eww that buckle.

It's a bit much, isn't it? The Dromati are so much lovelier. Think it's encouraging that a few manufacturers are experimenting with the non-cycley looking bike shoe but t'is early, and shoes like this make me sick up a bit on my molars:

Apparently the Quoc Pham Touring shoes, with spd fittings, will be available next month;

I'm very undecided on them, I love the simple elegance of his original shoes but these are just a bit odd looking I think.

Has anybody worn a pair of slack shoes?
-

i always do my laces up tight, frightened of pulling my foot out of the shoe
don't they get a bit sweaty?
