Not just leg trips ;) those brakes aren't actually that bad with the fork/frame combo I'm running (Oval A900s).
As is traditional on the Bentley course I had another kit failure* - disc covers didn't fit in the frame so thought sod it and rode a pair of training wheels instead. Still managed a CdA of ~0.22x on those wheels/tyres which is Good News for when I finish building up the pair of track 808s in the garage.
*in the same race last December I ripped the hub out of my disc wheel whilst warming up, earlier in 2014 I detonated a front wheel during the Charloteville 50

You'll still want one of my Omegas.. :)
You got stickers on your frame too?
-
• #8079
I have worked on the frame a bit, but look higher
Are they normal single bolt Omegas or the dual post ones?
-
• #8080
Ah yeah they'll be no good to you I think, they're the SV ones for the Shiv.
-
• #8081
Are they arm trips as well? I thought they might've been print on your skinsuit.

• #8082
What are leg trips?
-
• #8083
Is where you fail to put one leg in front of the other, get them tangled and end up arse over tit..
-
• #8085
I did make them to look like that!
I should probably amend the pricing of the sets as the 48 pack is quite appealing to a lot of people.

Do you know what they're worth (legs, arms, both) in Spesh WinTunnel talk? ie. seconds saved over 40k TT?
Will they stay on during a 24hr?
-
• #8087
This typically translates to a ~5w or ~7sec saving over 10 miles
So you might have gone another 2 miles in a 24...

They do stick very well if you've not moisturised your legs. They'll even survive after having a shower, and if you put them on clean fabric (like I have with my skinsuit) then they'll go through the washing machine multiple times and stay put too.
-
• #8089
Stay put under a wetsuit?
-
• #8090
Take this filth to the twiafflon thread.
-
• #8091
they look good though, could be placebo effect

more like cobalto effect

She's hot but I still prefer my girls with longer hair so I'd go left, middle, right.

Yeah but Xav doesn't grace the Tri thread so it's harder for me to ask him questions from there...
Also you know what triathletes are like:
-
• #8096
Ha - yes it is a bit like that. We've not tested them properly for a full triathlon but for a duathlon they'd be alright. They could well stay in place for the swim but you'd have to stick them on early to allow them to adhere.
ps. Twitter update about going slow over winter:

• #8097
20 seconds slower... not even worth getting out of bed for races then.
I know what's making me slower though and it's not air density...
-
• #8098
Does that factor in (the admittedly small effect of) humidity to the density calculation, or are you just using pressure and temp?
As air density decreases with increasing humidity, ideal conditions would be warm, low pressure and high humidity...
Following on from that, would riding in a wet skinsuit when it is warm and dry reduce the air density around the rider?.....

Just piss yourself like everyone else.

Yes it includes humidity
Interesting. I might dust mine off...
