I plan not to be spending £££ at a physio for the rest of my life.

Those Shivs with the massive downtube look utterly ridiculous without deep front/disc combos. Not to mention the rider, obvs.
I really need to spend some time looking at my position, switching to an Adamo has really fucked up what was a fairly comfortable position(bar the arse/saddle interface, hence Adamo) :( I also want a new frame, but I have no idea what reach and stack and what not I need, and I don't want to risk wasting money on something that doesn't fit :( #haveyouconsideredabikefit

No one cares what the bike looks like if it wins races.
As for Bottrill's head position, he crashed into a pothole recently. Presumably because he can't actually see properly.

Sounds as painful as it feels. Could be fun.
Might distract from leg pain. -

Planning on doing the bexley 10 tt tonight. Website is a little unclear - is there a HQ or do you sign up on the line?
-
• #5084
Sign up on the line Dan. Get there early tho, can be busy. Don't be put off by the fact that there appears to be a lot of traffic at the start, once you're half a mile up the road you enter a 40mph zone and have a bike lane to hover in, and once you're through West Kingsdown the traffic dies right down.
If you're riding there the organiser will let you throw your belongings into the boot of his car.

Good luck!

Just another little clarification on CTT regulations:
Where Reg. 16 states "Sleeves shall be at least mid upper arm length", I'm pretty sure they meant "from the shoulder", not "from the wrist" -

Cheers Sam - that's exactly what I needed to know!

What time would you say was 'early' Sam? I notice on the site that rider numbers are restricted to 30 tonight, but that most other nights you get 25-30 riders.
Planning to use the first part of the route you gave me for sunday to get me and little D there.

Little D?

:)
Would you prefer tiny tim?

Tiny Tim didn't have the use of his fucking legs. That makes no sense.

I don't remember you complaining about it on dunwich beach...

When you get to Eynsford (after crossing the bridge by the ford), do a left, then just before you reach the A20 turn right into White Post Hill, then join the A20 from there. If you attempt to join the A20 straight from the main road from Eynsford it's a left turn only junction.
If I had known you were TTing I would have put in a request to leave work early. Too late now sadly.

^ if that doesn't make sense just look at Google Maps!

It's a 7pm start tonight, I'd get there for 6:15 if you could to guarantee a start, but ultimately it all depends on how many turn up on the night.

That's a shame. Would have been good. I might do next week too, last one of the season.

I know. But it's annoying when you ride out and don't get a start number. I nearly missed out once. Spent an hour and 20 mins hammering it out from Victoria, missed a start by 1 person. Spent 10 minutes moaning about it to 6pt Tom, then saw someone turn up and get signed on by someone else. So had a word, got signed on myself and promptly put down a shit time.

I have a feeling this is going to be me.
You have to make you neck into an S-shape, so that you lower your head without changing its pitch. Belly dancing classes might help :-)
